Rachna Sagar Learning App
The team at RSPL have been in the forefront of providing quality educational material for learners from Class K-12. In this regard, the team has been working to provide age-appropriate, innovative and result-oriented material for learners in the classroom as well as at home. Also, with learning becoming a two-way process with studies in the classroom being followed by revision and recall exercises at home, in the way of home work assignments, there has risen the need for teaching-learning material that will be useful in the classroom as also help learners to complete home work assignments independently, at home.
The Rachna Sagar Learning App is thus the latest facilitator for learning and teaching. It has been devised keeping in mind how online learning through digital access, is the methodology that is beneficial to both to the learner and the educator. It is also the most familiar tool in the hands of the child-learner of today, and the ideal means of communication for the teacher with her pupils. It also eliminates the drudgery associated with textbook learning as it involves the child-learner through its interactive platform of knowledge sharing and learning.
Specific to the Rachna Sagar Learning App are the following :
• The learning material can be accessed through the Android phone/mobile making it accessible to a large number of subscribers
• Once the online connectivity has been switched on, material from the App can be accessed offline as well. Thus it is a dual service provided for both offline and online use, once the subscriber has connected with the Rachna Sagar Learning App. A specific button on the screen provides the option for choosing the offline alternative.
• The teaching-learning material has been tailor-made to cater to the needs of individual schools who have subscribed to the Rachna Sagar Learning App.
• The instructions for using it are indicated in the form of designated icons.
• The display buttons on the screen indicate the ‘class” the ‘subject’ and the prescribed book that has been accessed.
• In addition to the above, alongside the textbook, there are assessments for accessing animations, Practice Papers, Examination Papers as also the Teacher Resource Manual, for the prescribed textbook.
• In addition, one can scan and use animation material linked with the above.
• The above facilities are an improvement over the earlier version wherein the animated reality was only for individual texts. With an integrated format, the child-learner can have access to all the learning processes with the click of a single button.
• The integrated material as mentioned above is a valuable tool for self-study for the secondary level and senior secondary level users. For the junior classes, the Learning App becomes a tool for a play way method of learning.
• Every user has a sense of achievement after familiarising himself/herself with the matter on hand.
The Rachna Sagar Learning App has been developed by a dedicated team of educators working hand in hand with the technical team. At every level, the material has been edited, followed by extensive field research and applications in classrooms before being launched for general consumption. The Rachna Sagar Learning App is thus another product that has been launched for all-round educational advancement and for better learning availability of the end user.
